    3. Changes to Policy.  We may update this Policy from time to time by posting an updated version to the Sites.  Changes are effective upon posting to the Sites.  You can determine when this Policy was last revised by looking at Last Updated date listed at the top of this Policy.
    4. Terms.  Your use of the Site is subject to the Terms of Use.

Information You Provide.  In some cases, we ask you to directly provide information.  For example, to access certain portions of the Site, you may be required to become a registered user, and to register, we may ask you to provide certain information (such as name, email address, username, password, content you post, etc.).  Additionally, if you subscribe to any paid features on Site or purchase products from the Site, you may be required to provide certain additional information (such as credit card information, billing address, etc.).  Additionally, you may also provide information in connection with votes or surveys we are conducting on the Site, or areas of the site which permit you to provide user provided content.

Information We Collect from Your Use of the Site.  We collect information indirectly in connection with your use of the Site, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device IDs, pages of the Site that are visited, the time of day a visitor accesses the Site, location information, etc.

Information We Collect Through Other Means.  We collect information indirectly through the use of cookies and web beacons and other similar means.  Cookies are small files that are stored on a user’s computer. Cookies may be placed on your computer by us or by third parties that provide content on our site (e.g., advertisers, business partners, etc.).  Cookies may be used to save access credentials, save other information in connection with your use of the Site (e.g., shopping carts, wish lists, etc.), collect information regarding your use of the Site, collect information related to other sites you visit, etc.  Web beacons are similar to cookies and can be used to monitor a user’s activities.  We may use web beacons to monitor the number of people using the Site, number of people opening e-mails sent from us, or other data collection.  
    4. Information We Procure from Third Parties.  We may procure information about you from third party sources.

How We Use Information We Collect.  References in this Policy to:  (a) “personal information” means information described in Section 2 above that can be used to identify you and that is subject to data privacy laws and defined as “personal information” (or variations thereof) by such laws; (b) “collected information” means information described in Section 2 above that we collect directly or indirectly in connection with your use of the Site; (c) “procured information” means information described in Section 2 above that we procure from third party licensors; and (d) “products” means information (including content), products or services provided by us or third parties through the Site.some text

We may provide your personal information to our service providers, but they will only be permitted to use that information in connection with services they provide to us (e.g., if you order a product, we may provide your name and address to our fulfillment provider so they can complete your order, or we may store your data on servers that are owned and operated by our hosting services provider, etc.).

We may use personal information (including any corresponding general information) to provide you information about other products offered by us.  If you do not wish to receive these kinds of communications, you can opt out at the time you provide your personal information, or you can change your preferences by going to the My Account section of the Site.  
      4. We may provide your personal information to our trusted business partners who are unaffiliated third parties, to enable them to provide you information about products offered by those business partners.  If you do not wish to receive these kinds of communications, you can opt-out at the time you provide your personal information, or you can change your preferences by going to the My Account section of the Site.  Please note, however, that once you opt out, we will no longer share your personal information with our trusted business partners, but to the extent a business partner has already been provided your personal information, you must contact that business partner to opt out of receiving further marketing materials from it.  
      5. We may use your personal information to improve our Site and our users experience on our Site by providing you with information, including advertisements, that are relevant to you.

We may use this anonymized information, as well as non-personal information, as well as the combination of these two, for any purpose, including:  (i) we may use anonymized and/or general data to determine characteristics of visitors to our Site, which characteristics may be used to improve our Site or its features or to better market our Site or its features; and (ii) we may use anonymized and/or general data to determine the popularity or effectiveness of certain features of the Site, and to improve the Site’s appeal to users.  We also may share this information with third parties.
    3. Procured Information.  We may combine collected information with procured information and use it for any of the above purposes.

User Generated Content.  The Site may allow you to contribute user provided content to one or more publicly accessible blogs, forums, or groups or to communicate by means of online functions.  Any user generated content you contribute to these public forums is, by design, open to the public.  User generated content, including our right to use user generated content, is further addressed in the Terms.  
  4. Information Collected By Third Parties.  Some of our business partners, including advertisers, use cookies on the Site, but we have no access to or control over these cookies. This Policy covers the use of cookies provided by us only and does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties.  
  5. How We Use Feedback to Company.  Our Site has feedback functionality that allows you to submit comments, suggestions, or to convey bugs found with the Site. Feedback is subject to the Terms.  
  6. Security.  We care about protecting the security and integrity of your personal information.  To that end, we have put in place reasonable security procedures and practices to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

Information Provided to Third Party Sites Linked to Our Site.  The Site may contain links to other sites operated by unaffiliated third parties.  We refer to these as “third party sites”.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third party sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of third party sites they link to. This Policy applies only to information collected on our Site.
  8. Correction/Updating of Personal Information.  If you wish to change any personal information you have provided, you may do so by visiting the My Account section of the Site.

Business or Asset Transfer or Sale.  Our business, or portions thereof, may be sold or otherwise transferred to third parties through various means (e.g., sale of stock, sale of assets, merger, etc.).  In such transactions, we may, and likely will, transfer information collected through the Site, or give the acquirer a license to use that information.

Release of Information for Legal Reasons.  We may release information about you, including personal information, when we believe in good faith that such release is appropriate to comply with the law (for example, pursuant to a statutory demand, subpoena, warrant, or court order), to protect against fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of the Site, to protect our property rights, to enforce any contract between you and us, or if we reasonably believe that a situation involving danger of death or injury to any person requires disclosure.

Protection of Minors.  Use of this Site is not intended for children under the age of 13.  Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to register on this Site or use this Site (including any products).  We will not knowingly collect information from these children.  If you are a parent and your child has submitted personal information and you would like to request that such information be removed, please contact us at info@slai.com.  Any information submitted by a child under the age of 13 onto a public forum controlled by us will remain public until we have been notified of such publication and have had reasonable opportunity to remove that information where appropriate.
  12. Additional Disclosures for California Residents
    1. The California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) requires businesses to disclose whether they sell or share personal information related to an individual (“personal information”). As a business covered by the CCPA, we do not sell personal information. We may share personal information (in the form of identifiers and internet activity information) with third party advertisers for purposes of targeting advertisements on non-Salesforce websites, applications and services. In addition, we may allow third parties to collect personal information from our sites or services if those third parties are authorized service providers who have agreed to our contractual limitations as to their retention, use, and disclosure of such personal information, or if you use Salesforce sites or services to interact with third parties or direct us to disclose your personal information to third parties.
    2. California law requires that we detail the categories of personal information that we disclose for certain “business purposes,” such as to service providers that assist us with securing our services or marketing our products, and to such other entities as described in this Policy. We disclose the following categories of personal information for our business purposes:

• Identifiers;

• Commercial information;

• Internet activity information;

• Financial information;

• Professional and employment-related information;

• Education information;

• Geolocation data;

• Audio and visual data;

• In limited circumstances where allowed by law, information that may be protected characteristics under California or United States law; and

Please note that your request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information, because, for example, some of your content may have been reposted by another user.
